Of course, being a little competitive, we decided to make it an inner-office competition, with the winner getting a pizza-&-drink lunch for the entire department.
We broke the office into four groups (Estimating/Administration, Project Management, Design, and Production) and challenged each group to bring the most food items.
We are happy to report that we collected over 550 items that will be divided between the food banks of three local communities (Brooklyn, Grinnell, and Montezuma). That’s a 300% increase over previous years contributions! We know that it will help many families have a more enjoyable holiday season and we can’t wait to do it all over again.
Of course let’s not forget the winner. The Estimating/Admin group collected a total of 227 items, followed very closely by the Design team with 218 items. Congratulations to everyone and thank you for your participation.
